Step aside ‘Gangnam Style’ as the ‘Harlem Shake’ is making its way to becoming the next dance craze!
A 30-second short video entitled “DO THE HARLEM SHAKE (ORIGINAL)” featuring four young men in fancy costumes dancing frantically to Baauer’s ‘Harlem Shake’ song claimed to be the original video for Harlem Shake meme. The video was uploaded on Youtube about two weeks ago on 2nd of February. Much like Gangnam Style, the Harlem Shake became a crazy new dance trend as more than 12,000 Harlem Shake videos were posted on Youtube over the last few days.
The Harlem Shake video starts with several people looking bored sitting in the room while one of them dancing alone with a hip-humping movement in the room. As the beat kicks in , the video smash cut into a video full of people dancing in the most ridiculous ways possible in the entire room. Though the video only lasts around 30 seconds, but it makes people burst out laughing once everyone gone nuts.
