It looks like 2013 is taking us down the memory lane as a lot of music acts have been resurrected and come back to the music scene with the whole new different music . American pop punk band, Fall Out Boy, which went on hiatus on 2009, has returned with a new album and tour “Save Rock and Roll”.
The band made their comeback announcement on their website and posted a new tweet with a picture of the boys throwing their old albums into a bonfire .
In a message on Fall Out Boy’s website, the members said, “When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. It’s why we started Fall Out Boy in the first place. This isn’t a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us. The future of Fall Out Boy starts now. Save rock and roll…”
The band also released the music video for their new singles “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)” featuring 2 Chainz. The singles was proven to be a smash as it has been added to the legendary Z100/NY, the biggest pop radio station in US! On top of that, the singles stayed at the number 2 spot on the iTunes in both US and UK! The album will be released on May 6 and the band will be hitting the cities across US & Canada with the upcoming “Save Rock and Roll” tour.
