If it wasn’t for vanity’s sake, we could care less about taking care of our skin and the daily skin care routine. Now we’re not saying we’re lazy, but the fact that it must takes up a lot of time and effort to get the beautiful smooth skin just wears us out. Skincare somehow can be a little annoying yet it is an unavoidable routine to get a healthy-looking skin. Fortunately, things have changed so much now that even the skin care routine doesn’t require much time and expensive treatment creams. Wait no more, lazy girls, here’s our complete guide to fuss-free skin care routine.

1. Drink water

Drink water, in fact, plenty of it. Not even fruit juices can help in getting you a better skin. However, don’t drink too much water as it can cause water intoxication. Drink 6 – 8 glasses of water per day or better yet, bring a water bottle along with you every where you go.

2. Get enough sleep

We know it’s inevitable when you work over time but sleep is still the most important step in taking care of your skin. In fact, it would’ve been better if you keep up with a sleeping schedule. The best sleep for restoration is between 10pm and 1am and the sleeping hours should be between 6 – 8 hours.

3. Protect your skin

As much as we enjoy the beautiful healthy sun-tanned skin, we must protect our skin against the harmful UV rays of sun. Put on sunscreen or moisturizer with high SPF (30 or above) and PA+++ that blocks enough UV rays.

4. Eat a healthy diet

A balanced meal includes all kind of nutritions we needed for our body. Eating a balanced meal doesn’t only keep our body healthy, but also makes our skin look good. Eat plentty of fruits and vegetables, as well as fatty fish like salmon and tuna that are high in protein to repair damaged tissue in our skin.

5. Exercise

Staying in shape and being healthy is reflected through your skin. Aim to exercise every day, even if it only lasts 10 minute. Sweating is a way to get rid of the toxins in our body too.

6. Don’t smoke

Smoking can be hazardous to our whole body system, especially our skin and lungs. It allows toxins enter our body, making or skin age faster and causes wrinkles.

7. Facial massage

Surprisingly, massaging doesn’t only loosen up our body, it also make up for a more healthy skin. Facial massage improves blood circulation and improves the complexion of our skin at the same time. It is also one of the beauty secrets kept by models with tight working schedule.

8. Stress management

Stress is one of the many factors that contribute to bad skin especially acne breakouts. Hence, be positive towards every thing and do something positive to handle the stress. Calm down your mind and then only handle every thing one by one.
