The Benefits of Having A Male Best Friend

Some girls aren’t fond of having female peers and they much prefer the company of the male counterpart. We don’t mean ‘friends with benefits’, but actual BFFs who are male. If you don’t have any male BFFs yet, we hope these reasons will convince you to go out and find one.

No More Drama

One of the best reasons to have male friends around you is that you can assure yourself that there will be a decline in the drama-o-meter. Not to sound like a betrayer to the female gender, but guys are not one to spread rumors, or have the tendency passive aggressive, which is a good send if you’re not one for drama. It also helps that they’re very blunt and honest about their opinions, so the honesty certainly helps to keep the drama at bay.

The Male Perspective

If you’re dating someone out of your social group, be sure to know that you can always ask your male BFF for a little advice. Whether it’s something you don’t understand, you can always was him for advice, clarification, or what guys expect on a first date. It’ll save you so much time and it eliminates the stress of trying to think about what men think.

Expands Your Mind

Guys are generally more in tune with themselves, in terms of their interests and hobbies. If you’re looking for something fresh to do apart from shopping, rest assured that your guy friend will offer something fun like video games, sports and more. You may end up realizing that you’ve had a knack for these activities.

No Grudges

If you ever get into an argument with a male friend, there’s a very good chance that it won’t end in World War IV. Guys are easy going about people having different opinions and they don’t hold grudges from a simple tiff. If they’re not happy with something, they’ll just come out and say it, argue, resolve, and move on.
