25-year-old singer-songwriter Frank Ocean was cited for marijuana possession after getting pulled over by the police officer for speeding on New Year’s Eve.
He was stopped by the police for breaking the speed limit on a highway in Mono County, California. The police found a bag of marijuana in his person and was cited for possession, driving on a suspended license, and having tinted windows on his BMW.
He was not taken into custody and the police confiscated Ocean’s license while his passenger had to drive him home. Few hours after the incident, Ocean posted a few tweets in response to the marijuana incident. Well, it seems like he admitted he did smoke pot on New Year’s Eve.
Before the marijuana incident, Frank Ocean was in the centre of the attention for revealing his first true love for a man when he was 19 years old, the same moment he released his first sole album, Channel Orange. (Source)
