While everyone was expecting to get a good start from the New Year, the American Idol winner Kris Allen might as well get rid of the bad luck now as he has recently gotten into a head-on collision car crash. But thankfully, he is not seriously injured, as the collision only left his right arm broken. (Source)
The news broke-out when Kris’ mother, Kimberly Allen, tweeted a picture of Kris staring with his eyes wide open while holding his broken arms. She captioned it “From Kris: he’s in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please! #headoncollision”.
Kris’ wife and their dog, Zorro were involved in the car crash as well. Kimberly also tweeted, “Kristopher and Katy are both pretty beat up but ALIVE! Thank you Jesus! They are setting his arm now and will have surgery tomorrow.” and added “Zorro is fine too! Very shook up, but not
injured.”
It seems like it’s going to take up a while for Kris to be back up on stage to perform but what we can do is pray for a speedy recovery for Kris.
