Looks like Christmas is coming early for the readers of Playboy magazine! Hollywood icon, Marilyn Monroe is making her appearance on the cover of Playboy’s December issue – that’s right!
She is not only only the worlds most desired model, but she is Hugh Hefners personal favorite too. And, in conjunction with her 50 years since the actress’ passing, Playboy is paying tribute to her – it’s perfecting because Monroe was the magazines first ever cover girl in 1953.
The founder of Playboy, Hugh Hefner recalls Monroe by saying, “She was most in control when she was in the nude. What would be a position of vulnerability for others was a position of power for her.”
Playboy went through hundreds of photos to find the perfect one – and they did. Classy as all photos of Marilyn Monroe go – this one in particular was very quirky, playful yet very sexy. She is holding nothing but a towel in her hands. Can you say, va-va-voom?
