The Shout! Awards 2012 was a night to remember – if you weren’t there, then you would’ve been watching it on 8TV or like us, streaming it live of your computer. The entire event was held at the heart of Sunway Lagoon and it was a fun filled night with power performances by some of our best local bands and there was even a couple of performances by some K-pop starlights.
The Shout! Awards in general is a way to celebrate the work of the celebrities in Malaysia – from singers to tv personalities and even radio presenters. It’s all about giving back to the ones who entertain us on a daily (in some cases) basis. To add on to the list of awards, this year they have introduced two new awards, in a new Social Media category which are: Wired Celebrity Award and Shout! Aloud Award.
There were performances by local artists like, Darren Ashley, The Impatient Sisters, Run This, Ze!, Kyoto Protocol, Liyana Fizi, Diandra Arjunaidi and many more! On top of those performances, two internationa; K-pop senstations graces the stage with a hardcore, dance-filled performance. They were Nu’est and Vixx – and obviously the crowd went absolutely wild!
