ntv7 celebrates and honors successful women for their achievement and inspirational contribution to society with Malaysia’s first women awards show – Bella Awards 2013. The award show is derived from ntv7’s award-winning women talk show, Bella, which inspires women every day with powerful and informative topics.
The Bella Awards 2013 kicked off recently with a grand launch party at Marini’s on 57 that featured an outstanding view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. There were also performances by Malaysia’s accomplished choreographer, Ramli Ibrahim & Sutra Dance Theatre, who wowed the crowd with a classic Indian dance, the Bharatanatyam. Other industry guests who took the stage were local male vocalist Vince Chong, Diandra Arjunaidi, Chelsia Ng, and Rozz Ritzmann.
Hosted by actor Will Quah and Miss Universe Malaysia 2011, Deborah Henry, the Bella Awards 2013 Launch Party was a night to remember! A royal purple carpet was laid out as opposed to the traditional red carpet, served as a runway the fashion show featuring the works of both local and international designers like Tom Abang Saufi, Nisa Mazbar, Silas Lieu and Shiatzy Chen.
Intan Noorbaizura, Executive Producer of Bella Awards said, “This awards show is nothing you have ever seen before. We are going to celebrate the most incredible group of people in the universe – WOMEN – with the best line-up of performances by local AND international artistes, fashion shows, and lots of other surprises”.
