Get ready for the crowning of Miss Universe Malaysia 2013, as it will commence on the 10th of December in a gala finale event at the Setia City Convention Centre in Setia Alam, Selangor.
Malaysia’s comedian and favored actor, Douglas Lim will be one of the performers for the prestigious night alongside with singer-songwriter Mizz Nina with her energetic performance. Also, flown all the way from the Philippines, guests will be amazed by Primo – an all male Filipino vocal trio featuring Jon Joven, Floyd Tena and James Uy.
This years crowning ceremony will be hosted by writer, host and actor Will Quah and accompanied by famous TV personality, Julie Woon. The evening’s event will be attended by several elite and respected guests. Unlike last year’s crowning, the event will not be aired live on television. Nonetheless, the public will be able to attend the event and support for their chosen finalists.
Miss Universe Malaysia has brought the competition to another new level. The 17 finalists will compete for the title in a reality TV series – The Next Miss Universe Malaysia. Aired their first episode last Sunday, Malaysians definitely got to know the finalists even better. The other episodes will air every Sunday at 10.30pm on 8TV.
