Now that celebrity couple ‘Jelena’ have called it quits – there are girls around the world shedding tears of both sadness and happiness. (Which one are you doing?)
We’re taking a look at some of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez through some of their happier moments together. After all, they were dating for nearly 2 years, and in Hollywood years, that equals to about 5-6 years.
From their hidden smooches, to their going out party at the Oscars in 2011, this couple really were a pretty happy together (Well, at least that’s what the photos are telling us). Let’s take a look at the love story that once was about ‘Jelena’…
1. The First Sighting
The romance rumors between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez started to sizzle up even more in Decemeber 2012 – the teen stars had been spotted holding hands while heading out to breakfast – but they still denied there was anything but friendship between them. But doesn’t it always start like that?
4. Oscar Debut
This is when the couple decided to come out of hiding – away from the parking lots and onto the red carpet. The teen stars made their official public debut at the Oscars in 2011 (pretty grand entrance if you ask us) – They walked the red carpet letting everyone know (what everyone already knew) : “We are dating”
5. Hawaiian Kiss
Right after the Oscars, it went full blown PDA for the couple. The took a little vacation to Maui and well, the love birds did their thing with no shame for the cameras to see.
6. Award Affection
You could say that they were each others support system. After the coming out of their relationship, they were going to award shows and events together (constantly)
7.Matching Couples
They couple did what most couples do in the earlier years of their relationship – they started to match their outfits. At the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, it was just that. Though it wasn’t identical outfits (thank god) they were still matching colour-wise.
8. Justin The Gentleman
At the 2011 American Music Awards, Justin and Selena dressed to impress – but their clothes were not what impressed up – it was the way Justin showered Selena Gomez with love that got us. Holding up her dress, giving her random kisses (all in front of the cameras) It was a night that you just couldn’t help but go ‘naaaaaaww’.
9. It’s in His Kiss
Selena was a bridesmaid in a pal’s wedding while they were in Mexico and she brought her very famous boyfriend as her date. Photographers captured a sweet PDA moment from the wedding. It just seems like Selena can’t keep her lips off Justin – there must be something about this lips!
10. The Family Couple
It seems like the couple was getting more and more serious as the time went by – and Selena became a part of the Bieber family… at least, when it came to Bieber’s younger half-siblings. They would spend time on the red carpet, on the beach…. and just together all the time. Pretty adorable if you ask us – we saw a slight light into parenthood there (Slight meaning a VERY TINY bit)
11. Game On
The couple really loved spending time watching games together – you’d always see them at the front row or basketball games – though, we don’t actually know if they were watching the game or each other. Because from the looks of most of the pictures, their attention is only towards each other.
12. Work Date
The sweesting thing about this couple was that despite how young they were, and how big their lifestyle was, they would make time to see each other at work. Justin would visit Selena on sets of her shows and Selena would tag along to Justin Biebers shows or shootings of his music videos. Plus, when they do visit each other – it’s like their seeing each other for the first time in months.
