Asia has now gain a piece from the Britain because Mulberry has opened their flagship store in Singapore. The celebration wouldn’t be complete without a private dinner and also a cocktail event that includes a live performance from the well known singer, Lana Del Rey. The inspiration for the Mulberry’s latest “it” bag is ofcourse, Lana Del Rey herself.
Mulberry CEO Bruno Guillon, Creative Director Emma Hill and Lana Del Rey officially launched the iconic store. What was amazing and creative that night was the ‘Queen’s guards’ stood outside the boutique in sentry boxes. Mulberry never forgets to bring a part of their origin to their stores.
Catalunya was the next venue after the cocktails and the guests were transported in cars provided by Jaguar. Lana Del Rey was there to perform a wonderful set after dessert in the Sequin Ombre Dress from the S/S ’13 Collection and carried the Del Rey in Ink Blue Croc Print from the Autumn Winder 2102 Collection.
At the end of the evening guests were presented with gifts including the Mulberry 40th anniversary book and a classic Credit Card Slip in Ostrich leather, embossed with ‘Singapore 2012’.
