Here’s a few of our favorite quotes from Obama’s big speech – he is a man of many wise words:
- “As long as we have the courage, to keep reaching, to keep working, keep fighting. Everyone can make it in America. Black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, young, old, rich, poor, gay, straight, diasbled, abled. You can make it here in America. (source)“
- “Despite all the hardship we’ve been through – i’ve never been so hopeful of our future”
- “Whether I earned your vote or not, I have learned from you. I will return to the White House more determined and inspired than ever. Tonight, you voted for action, not politics as usual.”
- “It moves forward because of you. We are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation, and one people.”And our ultimate favorite quote of the night:
- “I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the woman who agreed to marry me 20 years ago..”
