A periodic body cleanse may be beneficial. It  improves your digestive system to  gives you healthier skin and even aid in your journey to weight-loss. However, venturing on detox pills or extreme detox diets may expel the bad and the good nutrients that your body is storing. So instead of stocking up on detox supplements, start incorporating detoxifying foods in your diet so that your body will go through the detox process naturally.

1. Yogurt
Yogurt contains probiotics, ‘good bacteria’ that help eliminate harmful bacteria in your digestive tract. As it’s also dairy, it contains calcium and protein that can give you the nutrients that you need, and giving you better weight loss results. Consume a cup of yogurt daily with fruit or with your favorite hi-fibre cereals as a breakfast parfait. (Source)

Fruits are the best supplements for a detox diet as they are high in liquid content, perfect for removing toxins from the body, therefore giving you a healthier digestive system. Apples are great  to have as part of your detox diet due to its fiber content. Fruits are also high in antioxidants, which are disease fighting compounds.
