When it comes to Jean Paul Gaultier, expectations are always fulfilled – this Paris Fashion Week, his designs definitely stunned the crowd and made he show one of the most interesting ones of the entire fashion week series.
We noticed a lot of celebrity inspiration that went through his designs – for example, there was a series that was based on Michael Jackson’s iconic ‘Bad’ style – along with many other celebrity signatures.
When it comes to any Jean Paul Gaultier, there is always a viarity and theme varies through out the entire show. You will never get bored watching a Jean Paul Gaultier runway show – that’s for sure. With the bright colours and interesting cuts – we have to say, this was one of our must-see collections from PFW!
TREND ALERT
We noticed that neon colours are coming into place in this Spring ’13 collection. Not only is the colours setting a trend, but we also noticed that there is a lot more layering going on through out this collection. We love the entire pop-up doll feel towards the entire collection. As for the menswear, we can see that it’s all kept to a very minimal level. What do you think?
