BMW Group Malaysia recently announced the launch of the all-new BMW 320i, a new variant of the premium sports sedan that features Luxury and Sport suited for more individual, dynamic and efficient driving choice.
Dr. Gerhard Pils, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia said as he introduced the new sedans, “The new BMW 320i underlines two key tenets that we at BMW Group Malaysia are offering to our valuable customers in the premium segment here – elegant luxury and sporty personality. The cars also further reinforce BMW’s position as the leader in the premium segment, highlighting exactly why the BMW 3 Series continues to be the most successful premium and sporty vehicle in the world.”
Both of the new BMW 320i Luxury and Sport Line features an accomplished engine offering with the BMW TwinPower Turbo 2.0 litre-inline-four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine is capable of churning out an impressive 135kW/184hp to achieve a 0-100km/h dash within only 7.6 seconds, all thanks to the combination of the twin-scroll turbocharger, Valvetronic, Double VANOS, High Precision Injection and the 8-speed automatic Steptronic transmission.
Much like other contemporary BMW models, the new BMW 320i also features the latest BMW EfficientDynamics innovations such as Brake Energy Regeneration, the Auto Start/Stop function, and not forgetting the ECO PRO mode as part of its driving control options. The new sports sedan also features an impressive average fuel consumption of only 6 litres/100km with CO2 emissions of 141 g/km. These qualities make the new BMW 3 Series the most efficient car in its class.
The Luxury Line features classy aesthetics, with discreet high-gloss chrome elements of the kidney grille and air inlets. The side window frames create an elegant exterior for drivers favoring a rich look and feel. The 17″ style 414 multi-spoke light-alloy wheels completes a distinguished posh exterior personality of the vehicle. Classic colors of fine wood-trim ‘Fineline’ anthracite and chrome wood accents, with Pearl Gloss finishers highlight comfort and lushness within the interior of the car.
The BMW 320i Sport Line on the other hand, features a more dynamic and athletic appeal. The sporty character is enhanced with 17″ style 393 double-spoke light-alloy wheels. Interior wise, the Sport Line is emphasised with the presence of sport seats and leather steering wheel with red stitching. Furthermore, the car’s sporty character is complemented with a sporty instrument cluster design with trimmings in Coral Red Matt.
