Local celebrities were spotted in GSC’s Pavilion Kuala Lumpur for the premiere of small-screen sitcom, Small Mission Enterprise (S.M.E.) recently. Emcee Dian Sharlin, welcomed guests like Yuri Wong, Xandria Ooi, Azura Zainal and more to the premiere of the new local comedy. The sitcom, presented by MALAYSIA SME® themselves, will be their first foray into television to create awareness of the many obstacles that all aspiring entrepreneurs from all walks of life would encounter.
Wayne Lim, CEO of MALAYSIA SME® said “It’s the first time ever that an SME sitcom is being aired on Malaysian television. And like any humble beginning that was fuelled by a desire to carve out a niche and champion the entrepreneurial spirit of gung-ho individuals, Small Mission Enterprise (S.M.E) was an undertaking that was meant to inform even as it entertains,” asserts Wayne. “Hopefully, the colourful antics and comic timing of our talented cast will shine through in a comedy that thewhole family can enjoy.”
Small Mission Enterprise (S.M.E.) stars local talents Baki Zainal, Alvin Wong, and Ash Nair, and is also directed by Malaysia’s well-loved comedian, Douglas Lim, who states that the “wonderful case definitely made the experience a memorable one”.
The first episode of Small Mission Enterprise will air on NTV7 on October 4, and subsequently every Thursday at 9pm.
