Topshop collection previews are something we always look forward to when it comes to London Fashion Week – maybe it’s because we know we can pull of their collection for ourselves in this country.
This year, Topshop Unique displayed their Spring collection in a completely different concept. It can be called minimalistic in a way. Everything about their Spring 2013 collection is simple and clean cut. Using several patterns and a mix and match of other things. Despite how patched up some of the designs are – there was still that extra element of chic that flowed through the designs.
There was not many colours thrown out in this collection – there was tinges of yellow and blue but majority of the designs were black and white. It’s a colour that can be worn day and night… everyday.
TREND ALERT
Scattered patterns seems like the biggest trend in Topshop Unique’s Spring 2013 collection – with a mix of checkers and strips – and unconventional placements. There are bits of glitter and metallic shades through out the collection. But the entire concept of this Spring 2013 collection is minimalism.
What do you think? Are these designs something that you’d love to have in your closet?
