The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his beautiful wife, Kate Middleton received a huge welcome from both Malaysians and visitors in KLCC Park, this morning.
The crowd of children, locals and tourists waved Malaysian and British flags, and cheered while waiting for their arrival. Some even had special banners made to welcome Duchess Kate Middleton, who has recently become a prominent style icon.
The couple arrived at 10.30am and was greeted by loud cheers. The Duke and Duchess then proceeded to a cultural walkabout which was organised by the British High Commission, that gave them the opportunity to shake hands with everyday Malaysians, tourists and even groups of children who attended the event as part of their school activity.
The Royal Couple also had the chance to witness to a traditional Malay dance and even a silat performance during their cultural walkabout. They then had lunch at KLCC with UK business representatives and then left for the Diamond Jubilee Tea Party at the British High Commissioner’s residence. (Source)
