Swedish fashion retail giant H&M has looped in two celebrities to be the face of its Fall campaign: songstress Lana Del Rey and actor Joel Kinnaman.
‘Summertime Sadness’ singer Lana Del Rey stars in a print campaign by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, in which she models key pieces of H&M’s Fall collection: from a pink angora blend sweater to printed leggings, twwed biker jacket and faux leather trimmed dress. A worldwide star with a multimillion selling album ‘Born to Die’, Lana also stars in a music video shot by director Johan Renck which will be available to watch at hm.com from September 19.
For its menswear collection, H&M has chosen ‘RoboCop’ actor Joel Kinnaman to appear in a fall campaign filmed by Jonas Åkerlund. The commercial shows Joel wearing various pieces from this season, such as a green varsity jacket, a navy crewneck and denim shirt. The video will be available for viewing on hm.com on October 5.
“H&M makes it easy for a guy to look great every single day and create a personal style. Their men’s collection always gives me a choice of how I want to dress, whether it be sharp in a suit and polo-neck, or more relaxed in jeans and a tweed jacket. That’s why I’m so happy to be the face of H&M this season,” -Joel Kinnaman.
H&M will open its first Malaysian outlet in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang on September 22.
