Donna Karan designs are known to embody a woman’s figure – and in this Ready To Wear Spring 2013 collection, she does exactly that. With a few special appearances from popular model, Karlie Kloss – the runway was flowing so gracefully.
From the soft shades of blue and pink to the bold tones of blue – there’s so much to enjoy in this entire collection. And one thing that all these designs have in common – it’s the way everything falls off the models bodies so naturally. It’s as if Donna Karan created these designs by the way the cloth falls naturally. Pretty impressive if you ask us.
In this Spring 2013 collection – we’re seeing a lot of chiffon as well as silk. The two materials that really work well around a woman’s body. Though, there are no bright colours at hand, it’s all pretty easy to the eye.
What stands out the most from this runway show is the make up – despite having soft colours, Donna Karan opped for bold make up. All the models wore bright pink eyeshadow that gives the models a very alluring feel.
Trend alert
We’ved noticed that ‘V’ necks seem to be the biggest trend in Donna Karan’s collection as well as layering. Most of the designs have a unique way of folding over each other. Most of the time, layering may seem a little clustered – but Donna Karan has found a way to make it look even more feminine than what thought was possible.
