Marc Jacobs A/W ’12
This collection goes with a theme from Oliver Twist and is inspired by fashion eccentrics like Anna Piaggi and Lynn Yaeger.
The line is featuring from brocade tweed glittery tops and skirts in fuchsia and bordeaux shades, curvy leather dresses, crystal buckles sparkled on high-tongued Pilgrim shoes to the oversized fur hats.
Unlike past season, this season’s looks are wild and loud with oversized wool stoles buttoned over double-breasted fitted fur coats worn on top of a patchwork skirts and cropped pants. While showy details and accessories, such as metallic pink pilgrim shoes, yellow shopper bags, catchy multi-coloured hats and padded hips would set a girly and playful tone, paisley, brocade and jacquard prints.
It really is something different and more daring.
