Fried rice is a common Malaysian dish that’s fairly easy to make, but it’s not the healthiest meal around. Does that mean that you should stop cooking it? No, because you just have to follow Lipstiq’s recipe below – we’ve exchanged a few ingredients for healthier ones and our fried rice still tasted good! Try it out and let us know what you think!
Ingredients:
1 egg
4-5 pieces of boneless chicken meat
1 large onion (finely chopped )

1 large garlic (finely chopped), according to own preference
2 red chillis
French beans
Carrots
Baby corn
Olive oil
Light soy sauce
Preparation:
1) Cook the rice in a rice cooker and leave it to cool after it has cooked.

2) Boil the carrots, french beans and baby corn in a pot and leave them to cool.
3) Boil the chicken meat until it is soft.
4) Heat up a frying pan and add 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, fry the egg according to your preferred style inside the pan.
5) Add another tablespoon of olive oil inside the pan. Then fry the onion, garlic and chilis together.

6) Once they turn golden brown, add the chicken, vegetables and egg inside the wok and stir-fry everything together for about two minutes.
7) Add rice and continue to stir fry.
8) Add 1 -2 teaspoons of light soy sauce to the wok.
9) Fry for a minute or two, and it’s ready to be served.
P/S we didn’t use salt in this recipe to keep it healthy, and it still tasted good! It’s important to cut down salt from your diet once in a while. Go ahead and try it!
