The Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week has just passed us and we’ve summed up our favorites from the different shows. From delicate detailed designs, to structured symetrical designs, the Fall/Winter 2012 Collections have definately brought fashion to the next level.
It is all getting bigger and better – and with all the desingers going in head to head, we can see the special signatures of each and every designer. We can see the new creations and even some upcoming big trends.
Here are our picks for the best Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2012 collections:
Armani Privé Couture
The thing that attracted us the most to Armani Privé haute coture Fall/Winter 2012 collection was the face accessories. It looks as if it’s glittering water running down their faces in slow motion. The colours and tones that were used in this collection gives up the impression of liquified dreams. We think the designs for this collection is pretty dazzling and it could actually be worn by anyone for an evening party or gala.. What do you ladies think?
Elie Saab Couture
When you think of Elie Saab, you think so elegance and detail. For the Fall/Winter 2012 collection – you won’t be dispointed. The amount of detail and love that goes into every item is just breath taking. What’s not to love about this collection? Every woman dreams to be surrouned in this much beauty. An Elie Saab creation is known for it’s way to fall around a woman’s body – making them look like they are floating. We absolutely love anything Elie Saab comes up with.. It never dissapoints. We’re pretty sure we’ll be seeing a few A-class celebrities wearing these designs on the red carpert events to come.
Jean Paul Gaultier Couture
Once again, Jean Paul Gaultier doesn’t fail to make a statement… and the entertaining kind of statement. We love how he turns his runway shows in something unique and fun. It’s really one of of a kind. What we love most about it is fact that it stands out from all the rest.
JPG has got that travelling circus feel to this Fall/Winter 2012 collection. We love how different it is – Haute Couture is not only about details and perfection – fun is always needed.
Yiqing Yin Couture
Now this is a collection that got our jaws dropping. Yiqing Yin’s designs have made us realize how fashion is a work of art, not just clothes to wear on a daily basis. The designs for Yiqing Yin’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection revolves around so much abstract and power, it gives us the feel of femininity brought up to the next level. We can see the collection holds a lot of ombré tones and some materials. Would you wear these designs to a party?
Zahair Murad Couture
Here is another designer that loves precise detail on a gown. Zahair Murad’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection is flowing with femininity and elegance. We love that he added a load of different colours as well as patterns like summer-like blossom – after all, Fall/Winter is not about boring tones of colour and plain cuttings. We foresee these gowns being worn at the next Grammy Awards or Oscars… we can make a bet on that!
