You come back home from work and probably the only thing which you would want to do is to remove your heels and sit down somewhere comfortable. Just that your feet still seems to be aching. Hmmm… you do not have the time to go for a foot reflexology but at the same time you can’t stand the pain.

Well here is a step by step guide to treat your tired feet. Do this one hour before you go to bed and see what a difference it can make.

Step No. 1: Dip your feet into a tub of warm water

Choose a tub or a pail which you could use to dip your feet into and fill it up half full with warm water. It doesn’t have to be extremely hot but make sure that the water is warm enough so that you can feel better. Put a teaspoon of salt inside the water and dip your feet inside it for a good 40 minutes.

Step No. 2: Do the ankle exercise

After drying your feet with a towel, sit down and do the ankle exercise for 5 minutes. The ankle exercise is really simple and you should actually do it a few times in a day even when you are at work. Lift your feet a little and start moving it clockwise. Do this for about 2 minutes and then switch legs.

Step No. 3: Apply some oil

This would only take you another 10 minutes. Sit down on your bed and stretch your legs in front. Then apply some massage oil onto your legs. Start from the knee and move towards your feet. Do it slowly and repeat this for about five times.

Step No. 4: Place a pillow underneath your ankle

The only thing which you should be doing after applying the oil onto your feet is going to bed. While you lay down, place a pillow underneath your ankle. Most people would recommend this to you when you have an injured ankle or when you are pregnant but even if your ankle is perfectly fine, you can still do this.

It is not necessary for you to do this everyday. Try doing it on days when your feet is extremely painful and see if it works.

Tried different methods previously and found that it helps to ease your foot pain? Then share your tiny little secret with us now lovelies.
