Hmm.. so what is happening in the tech world? On Friday, judge Lucy Koh made a ruling that the sales of Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be blocked in the US.
This is not the first time Apple has requested for an injunction against Samsung. On Tuesday, a similar request was approved by the same judge blocking the sale of Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet according to The New Straits Times.
Both the gadgets which were banned uses software’s which were made available for gadget maker by Google but what was the problem here?

According to Google’s news portal, the judge claimed that “in sum, Apple has shown a likelihood of establishing both infringement and validity.” The judge felt that Apple had a strong case showing that patent issues are valid and that Samsung misused the technology.
Samsung is certainly disappointed with the decision which was made but claimed that they believe the correct results would eventually prevail when the court sees the evidence to it. According to The Physc.Org yesterday, Samsung vowed that they would take all available measures to fight the courts decision.
In order for the injunction to be official, Apple would have to post a $95.6 million bond with the court – if Samsung wins the case, then Apple would have to compensate the losses which Galaxy Nexus faced through out the period of time.
