The 66th Annual Tony Awards was a night to celebrate Broadway at it’s finest. The show was full of jaw-dropping performances and ofcourse, with Neil Patrick Harris being the host of the night, it was definitely entertaining evening.
We’re going straight to the red carpet where a handful of stars attended the awards in fine fitting suits, bedazzled gowns and bold splashes of colour. We’re picking out the best and the worst dressed of the evening.
.) Laura Bell Bundy – As much as we love the details on this dress, we just feel that it is a dress for a high-school prom. Don’t you agree? Maybe it’s the colour?
.) Cynthia Nixon – We really love the colour and the plunging neckline of this dress. The detailing is jaw dropping. Also, we’ve got to love Cynthia for being able to pull of that kind of short hair!
.) Sheryl Crow – WOW.. thats the first thing that comes to mind when we see Sheryl in this dress. She is looking drop-dead gorgeous. The details and the colour, it all just flows together so perfectly! And, doesn’t she look like she’s glowing?
.)Bernadette Peters – We absolutely love this shade of purple. There is just something about this look that is pretty magical. Maybe it’s how this mermaid cutting oozes off the red carpet, and it definitely shows off the right curves.
.) Jessica Chastin – Every since that magical Alexander McQueen gown that Jessica wore at the 2012 Oscars, everyone has been watching her for her next red carpet appearance, hoping she’ll turn up wearing another beautiful gown. But, ever since then, we’ve been a little upset with her choices. This dress in particular is definately something we never want to see on the red carpet, ever again! We can’t figure out if she forgot to wear a part of the dress.. It’s just a big fashion mistake. What do you guys think?
.) Amanda Seyfried – We love Amanda’s bold choice of colours. Who knew purple and orange would actually do a good combination. Plus, she event added that extra pop with her choice of lipstick. She is looking stunning from head to toe!
.) Ellen Barkin – Simple, classy and chic. The best three words to describe Ellen Barkin in this long sleeved blue gown.
.) Stockhard Channing – There’s just something about this look that turns our heads away. Maybe it’s the excessive shimmer or the wrong accessories? But we feel this look is missing something important. What do you guys think?
.) Beth Behrs – This ‘2 Broke Girls’ star is definitely making us forget that mustard coloured waitress uniform she wears on the show. There is no doubt about it, Beth Behrs is our pick for the best dressed of the night. We could hardly recognize her! She is absolutely glowing. Do you guys agree?
.) Ricky Martin – Hola Ricky! Isn’t he looking better then ever. That bow-tie tux is oh-so-fitting for a suave man like him! We’d love our men to look this good when they’re 40 plus!
.) David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris – Two of them look absolutely sleek, we love how David Burtka is wearing a bow tie and Neil is wearing a neck tie. Neil, being the host of the night, well, he had a few extra changes in ‘costumes during the show since he was the host after all! None the less, this is definitely a stylist couple!
.) Hugh Jackman – Who knew Wolverine could look so good in a bow-tie tuxedo. We love how clean cut and handsome Hugh is looking. Despite being a big action star, Hugh is also one big talent on broadway. We can’t wait to see him sing his lung out in Les Miserable! What do you think of this look here?
Tell us, who do you think was the best dressed of the evening? We want to know your views!
