Many have spoken about it, many have highlighted the issue using various platforms but how many of us have actually taken the initiative to do something about the condition of our Mother Earth?
On Friday, Estee Lauder celebrated their 4th year anniversary to reaffirm their commitment towards saving Mother Nature. The celebration took place in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and it was a joined effort between Parkson Malaysia and Estee Lauder.
Among those who were present at this event included local celebrities; Dina Nadzir, DJ Luke, Fara Fauzana, Jojo Struys, Aric Ho and Cheryl Lee.
The location which they choose this time was a rainforest which is older than the Amazon and Congo, the Belum-Temengor Forest.
The Malaysian Nature Society is believed to be working hard to promote this natural heritage which is rich in culture and diversity of indigenous communities as it aims to sustain the wildlife population of the species within this forest.
Estee Lauder would be donating their entire profit from the sales of the stainless steal bottles which will be sold to the public through out the month of June to this forest. Their main aim of selling these water bottles is to educate society about the importance of the 3R’s; reduce, reuses and recycle.
Besides that they have also taken the initiative to declare Friday as a no paper day at all thus all printers will be switched off through out the day.
If you would like to show your support towards the campaign, then just purchase these bottles for only RM 30 and start making the effort to save Mother Earth today ladies.
