H&M has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with acclaimed Polish designer Magda Butrym, marking a historic first in the brand’s two-decade legacy of designer partnerships. This collaboration introduces a collection that embraces femininity, craftsmanship, and the rich heritage of Slavic style, offering a unique and romantic vision to fashion lovers worldwide.
Renowned for her distinctive approach to modern femininity, Magda Butrym infuses the collection with her signature aesthetic – blending strength and softness, structure and fluidity. A central motif of the collection is the rose, a powerful emblem of womanhood that reflects the designer’s philosophy of confidence, elegance, and timeless beauty.
“I really see this collection as a chance to invite people into our world – and to celebrate femininity, and the flower. Each piece brings its own sense of Slavic romance, while paying homage to the history of our brand.” – Magda Butrym
Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Magda Butrym brand, the collection revisits some of the label’s most cherished silhouettes. Highlights include ethereal, petal-like dresses, bold-shouldered tailoring, and structured oversized coats. Standout pieces include a striking red ruffled gown reminiscent of a bouquet of roses, a sweeping crochet lace gown, and a luxurious burgundy leather coat – each embodying Magda Butrym’s signature blend of romance, strength, and intricate detail.
Further key pieces feature jersey dresses in the collection’s signature hues of pink and red, a bold rose print, and tailored black ensembles with strong shoulders and a rose jacquard lining. The accessories range from floral-adorned strappy sandals to sparkling crystal flower earrings and silk headscarves that reinterpret Polish femininity with a contemporary edge.
“We are thrilled to be inviting people into Magda’s powerful and poetic world. The collection is full of vitality and joy and speaks to Magda’s exceptional skill for interpreting contemporary femininity in rich and unique ways.” – Ann-Sofie Johansson
The Magda Butrym x H&M collection will be available in select H&M stores and online starting 24th April.
