If you thought that Malaysia was the only country which had restrictions on concerts, then think again.
Lady Gaga’s concert which will take place on 27th April 2012 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium has only been limited to those above the age of 18.
Reason being because her album Born This Way was found be unsuitable for the younger generation because of its lyrics.
The Korean Association of Church Communication also said in a statement that they needed more concerts which would stop the younger generation from being influenced with homosexuality and pornography.
This was about the same reason why the concert was banned in Kuala Lumpur last year when officials did not agree with the lyrics of Born This Way. Many have expressed their disappointment as the announcement was only made on March 29th when the concert is scheduled to take place on the 27th.
On 24th March 2012, Gaga won the award of being the most outstanding music artist in Born This Way under the Interscope Records.
Gaga who is well known for her unique pop tunes and dance moves will start her tour, The Born This Way Dance Ball in Seoul and it will continue its journey to Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. She is also expected to have a total of 110 shows worldwide this year.
According to reports, over 38,000 have been sold but only 1% of those tickets were sold to those below the age of 18.
