Celebrating 20 Years Of Aesop’s B Triple C Balancing Facial Gel!

Potent and peerless, Aesop’s B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel has been a cherished staple within Aesop skin care since its release 20 years ago. A replenishing hydrator rich in Vitamins B and C, the B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel helps even the appearance of the skin with its unique honey-like texture that makes using it a singularly refreshing experience.

Suzanne Santos, Aesop’s Chief Customer Officer, recounts how impactful the product’s release was as it represented ‘a generational change in texture, driving ingredient efficacy, and performance,’ and setting a high benchmark for Aesop’s skin care aspirations. The formulation offered a meaningful counterpoint to the silicone-based serums that were prevalent at the time: a transparent amber gel replete with generous measures of skin-supportive vitamins.

FORMULATED TO BALANCE, REPLENISH, AND SOFTEN SKIN

Timeless and consistent source of both replenishment and sensory pleasure, the name itself reflects its potent makeup, with ingredients that include Panthenol, a precursor to Vitamin B5, and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a stabilised form of Vitamin C. This lightly hydrating treatment delivers potent doses of Vitamins B and C and anti-oxidant fortification, imparting intense hydration as skin feels nourished and cooled with an embracing matte finish.

‘The formulation contains a ratio of approximately one part Vitamin B to three parts Vitamin C. Once applied to the skin, Panthenol will convert into Pantothenic Acid, or Vitamin B5, while Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate will convert into Ascorbic Acid, or Vitamin C.’ More broadly, B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel embodies Aesop’s rigorous approach to product development, having taken three years to come to fruition.

HOW TO USE?

Once daily-–either morning or evening––or when in need of a vitamin boost.

Once half a teaspoon has been dispensed into the palm, warm the gel between the hands until it begins to loosen, then spread across a freshly cleansed and toned face and neck. It is best massaged into the skin with gentle pressure until absorbed.

The Aesop B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel is available at Aesop signature stores and online.
