COLORS
A shimmery Gold, a matte Apricot shade, Wine and Purple colors. The peach and gold colors work very well as highlights or to highlight the inner tear duct. We love the dark purple the most because it’s a fairly unique color.
STAYING POWER
All of the other colours except the purple one lasted up to 12 hours with minimal fading, that is if you use primer, otherwise it starts to fade after 6 hours.
OUR THOUGHTS
The Sunrise, Sunset palette looks incredibly pretty at first glance but it’s pretty disappointing once you’ve swatched them onto your lids. As you can see from our swatch, they’re not very pigmented on their own without the primer. Revlon eyeshadows tend to either be a hit or miss but as pretty as the colors are in the palette, it’s definitely a miss for us especially since they can get pretty powdery instead of the creamier texture that we love. There are two little brushes included with the Colorstay palette but they’re not the easiest to work with because of the size. These eyeshadows works best with sponge tips compared to bristle brushes.
