When one thinks of Formula One (F1), not only does the fast and furious come to mind but also luxury, style and all things refined. It’s no surprise that Pavilion KL, located in the heart of Malaysia’s shopping district, is the annual home to the week long signature “Pavilion Pit Stop” which was held from the 21st to 25th March with partners such as Mastercard Worldwide, GH Mumm (the official champagne for F1), Sepang International Circuit and the Caterham F1 team.
One of the Fashion & Party Pit Stop events was “A Glamourous Night of Fashion presented by Pavilion KL and Mastercard Worldwide” which saw Malaysia’s top fashionistas filling the front rows as they witnessed the latest Spring/Summer 2012 arrivals from international brands such as Shanghai Tang, Vertu and Karen Millen. Over 400 chic guests and 10 lucky MasterCard cardholders who spent RM1,000 and above at Pavilion KL, attended the event which also saw the debut of the new Vertu Constellation Quest Ferrari Phone, whose design was inspired by the Ferrari 458 Italia.

The dress code for the event was “A Touch of Karen Millen or Shanghai Tang” and the best dressed winners won a Karen Millen iPad case and a Shanghai Tang clutch respectively. The night also saw Malaysia’s power voice, Ning Baizura belting out hits by the late Whitney Houston as a tribute to her.
