Netflix’s horror-comedy hit series, Wednesday, has everyone in a chokehold. We’re all glued to Jenna Ortega’s rendition of the iconic gothic character, Wednesday Addams – and it’s safe to say that she’s pretty much nailed it. While the show has gained huge success, it has also ushered in a new beauty trend with over 82 million TikTok users looking to recreate it.
The trend is none other than Wednesday Addams’ goth glam makeup look. We know Wednesday for her deadpan look – but her makeup definitely accentuates the creepy girl appearance. The look is mysterious, yet still chic and modern, and beauty fanatics are now easily recreating it to channel their inner psychic girl, Wednesday Addams!
Recreating Wednesday’s Goth Glam Lewk

Based on these videos alone, achieving Wednesday’s goth glam look should be a breeze. Starting with the base – the paler the better – we want to make you look as dead as possible. Skipping blush, carve out your cheekbones to make them look super sharp. And finish it all off by adding some cute freckles across your cheek and nose.
Next up, your eyes should reflect those of Tim Burton’s most iconic characters – so make em’ big. Using only cool tone eyeshadows, create a soft halo shadow around the eyes and drag them along your undereye as well. For a more smoky effect, grab your favourite black eyeliner pencil and line the top and bottom waterline and smudge it out. Once you’re done, you basically have Wednesday’s intense piercing and unblinking gaze.
Lastly, for the lips, you don’t have to go absolutely crazy. Just a subtle, cool-tone brown or plum lipstick with a beautiful glossy lip balm will have your pouters looking hawt, but still deathly.
