Never a day goes by without the beauty community starting a new makeup trend, especially on TikTok. This is understandable, considering that some of us may be curious to see how we would look like if we had freckles on our faces, or, maybe, deep dark eye circles. From these examples alone, you would think the beauty community had things covered. However, lo and behold, there’s a new trend on the rise – and it seems that they’re now tackling creating fake dimples.
You read that right – fake dimples! You know, those things that some people are naturally blessed with and which are made completely out of muscles? Yes, the beauty community is now learning how to create dimples using only makeup, specifically through the magic of contouring.
If you’ve ever wondered what you’d look like with dimples, Daminee, a TikTok beauty creator, will teach you exactly how to fake a dimple.

Starting with a full face of makeup, Daminee grabs a contour stick and smudges it directly on the area where a dimple should be. Afterwards, with a lighter concealer, she draws on two lines on each side of the contour smudge and blends until seamless. Just from that simple technique alone, she creates her own fake dimples.
After this video went viral, many TikTok beauty creators jumped on the bandwagon in pursuit of dimples.

While we highly encourage our readers to love themselves and never compare their facial features with others’, creating fake dimples could be a fun and safe experiment to do, especially with makeup. In fact, it’s a lot safer then going under the needle, because, trust us, there are those who would go through great lengths just to have them.
Also, if dimples don’t look good on you, a swipe of your makeup wipe is all you’d need to get rid of them.
