Kwai Chai Hong, a lively tourist destination frequently embellished with interactive art displays, provides the ideal heritage backdrop for Sunbather’s attractive Japanese-Western cross-cultural eating. Sunbather Chinatown, located on the bottom level of a pre-war 4-story shophouse on Jalan Panggong, is your go-to Instagrammable spot for picture-taking, while also savouring the most wonderful fusion food.

Sunbather Chinatown serves modest yet robust food that is simple but flavoursome, maintaining loyalty to the brand’s beginnings as a real Yōshoku café. Sunbather Chinatown brings you the finest of Yōshoku, including classics and current twists, as well as an enticing combination of scrumptious sweet delicacies that taste like sunshine and bliss!

Whether you’re new to Yōshoku cuisine or an avid fan of it, there’s something for everyone. The following are some of the menu highlights of Sunbather Chinatown:

Sando

Fruit Pudding Parfait

Of course, the restaurant couldn’t forget those who adore Sunbather’s Kakiyuki sweets. Kakiyuki’s intriguing assortment of shaved ice desserts appear as beautiful as they taste, and are famous for their handcrafted Kakigōri with fuwa fuwa (fluffy) shaved ice, flavoured with fresh fruits and quality ingredients. The menu at Sunbather Chinatown includes an exclusive series of Kakigōri, combined with delectable tropical fruit for Malaysian-inspired tastes.

Appam Sweetcorn & D24 Chocolate Kakigōri

Classic Matcha & Chitose Strawberry Kakigōri

Enjoy the cultural and historical ambiance, the simple pleasures of Yōshoku eating, and a refreshing tropical Kakigōri while you’re at it!
