New Balance continues to explore the 1970s wing of their vast running archive with the new RC30.
The RC30 applies the time-bending, experimental edge behind recent favourites like the XC-72 and 327, to a sleek, functional minimalism inspired by the era’s low-profile racing comp silhouettes.
Taking influence from the likes of the original New Balance Trackster, the RC30’s outsole tread design features curved sole ripples, boasting all the charm and heritage of a retro runner but with a contemporary, fashion edge.
The campaign for RC30 has been shot by the highly respected and celebrated British photographer Ewen Spencer. Since the late 1990s, Ewen has been well known for his work capturing subcultures through both a documentarian and editorial lens.
The launch of the RC30 comes in blue, grey, white, camo and red colourways.
RC30 is currently available on www.newbalance.com.my and New Balance’s Pavilion KL, Mid Valley Megamall and Sunway Pyramid outlets, with the suggested retail pricing of RM509.00.
