Sit back and relax, because we’re about to serve you some delicious and drama-free tea by Tealive! Malaysia’s home-grown lifestyle tea brand Tealive will add 30,000 more cheers for Merdeka this year – by getting 10,000 consumers to proclaim “Kopi Merdeka” three times at its outlets, this Wednesday.
Bryan Loo, the founder and CEO of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, announced that Tealive is inviting its nation-loving patrons to come on Wednesday, August 17, and show their support for the nation by requesting “Kopi Merdeka” three times, for which they will each receive a free coffee.
“As a Malaysian brand, we serve the rakyat every day in every nook and corner of our beloved country. We are proud of our Malaysian heritage as we expanded into ASEAN countries, Europe, Australia and now even in Africa.
“We thought ushering in Merdeka two weeks before Aug 31 would give us a good patriotic and early head-start in showing our gratitude to Malaysian loyal fans, followed by 31% off Signature Coffee all the way till Aug 31.
“We are thankful to our loyal Tealive fans for their continuous support which encouraged us to grow in Malaysia and overseas. Thanks to them, we will be opening our 800th store next month and enhancing our lead as the top regional lifestyle tea brand,” he said.
On August 17, all Tealive stores will offer a significantly wider selection of coffee, all made to order using premium Arabica beans, according to Loo.
“We know Malaysians are concerned over pandemic challenges and economic uncertainties arising from global events but for this 65th Merdeka, let’s stay confident and hopeful that as a nation, we will pull through. Come and have coffee on us this Merdeka and, with our expanded menu, we indeed have ‘Coffee for all’,” he added.
A full-sized 12oz Signature Coffee will be given away for free to anyone who enters the store and yells “Kopi Merdeka” three times. With Tealive stores at Petronas stations in the Klang Valley opening as early as 8am, every cup will be served freshly brewed as all Tealive tearistas get ready for this Merdeka celebration.
“As a brand, Tealive has promoted the modern tea-drinking culture since 2017 and now, we’re expanding our coffee menu for ‘Anyone, Anytime and Anywhere’ including Signature Coffee using Aren Palm Sugar from Borneo. Try out this delicious savoury sweetness with a tinge of caramel. Remember to flip it for a full and satisfying lava effect,” he added.
Thanks to its naturally sourced and produced status from local farmers in Sarawak, Borneo, Tealive’s latest seasonal beverage, the Aren Palm Sugar series, which is offered at all of their locations, will put you in a patriotic mood this August. With a lower glycaemic index than brown sugar and honey, this exclusive Aren Palm Sugar supply deal with Loob offers a healthier alternative, while also enabling more consistent income for the farmers involved.
