Ranked as the best students in the nation and very respected by peers and mentors alike, Miyuki serves as the student council president. Alongside him, the vice president, Kaguya, who is the eldest daughter of the wealthy Shinomiya family, excels in literally every field there is. Because the first to confess is considered a loser and that person will be looked down upon. 4. Whisper Of The Heart
The typical anime female character who likes to read and write poetry – that is Shizuku Tsukishima. A 14 year old girl spends her free time writing poetry. One day, as she is glancing at the checkout cards of her books, she notices that her library books are frequently checked out by a boy named Seiji Amasawa. Ya know what kills a girl – curiosity. So, Shizuku decides to search hard for the boy who apparently shares the same love she has for literature.
When Shizuku meets a rather peculiar looking cat on the train, she decides to follow the animal and she is eventually led to a quaint antique shop, where she learns about a cat statuette known as “The Baron.” The antique shop gets the best of her interest, and after a while, she surprisingly finds Seiji there. The two quickly befriend one another and Shizuku learns while acquainting herself with Seiji that he has a dream he would like to fulfill. Since Shizuku isn’t very focused or sure of her future as Seiji is, it causes her dismay as she remains uncertain of her talents and future.
However, as her relationship with Seiji blooms, Shizuku becomes determined to pick up a goal to work towards. Guided by the whispers of her heart and inspiration from The Baron, she resolves to find out her potential and make her dreams reality.
5. Horimiya
We all have two people in mind who, according to us, are not a good match. Simply because both parties are opposites. Why? Because they have nothing in common. But you know what they say – opposites attract. That is precisely how it is with Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura.
The thought of Kyouko and Izumi getting along would be the last thing in people’s minds. After all, Hori is the perfect combination of beauty and brains. Meanwhile, Miyamura is more meek and distant from his fellow classmates. However, a fateful meeting between the two opens their eyes to more than just what’s on the outside.
Hori is indeed a popular girl at school, but due to housework, she has no time to socialize with her friends. On the other hand, Miyamura is always on a close watch by his peers, with his body bearing secrets of tattoos and piercings that make him look like a gentle delinquent. Having the complete opposite personalities, yet sharing odd similarities, Hori and Miyamura quickly became friends and often spend time together in Hori’s home.
A delinquent bad boy and a gorgeous innocent girl – if this is your type of highschool romance, then you have to watch this anime.
6. Teasing Mr Takagi San
Having a friend who knows you inside out is amazing – but not for everyone. Especially not in Nishikata’s case.
Her classmate, Takagi, loves to tease her on a daily basis, and Nishikata uses her broad knowledge to analyse his behaviors so she can easily predict exactly how he will react to her teasing. Which makes it nearly impossible for Nishikata to ever make a successful comeback. Despite this, Nishikata vows to someday give Takagi a taste of her own medicine by making her blush out of embarrassment from his teasing.
Will Takagi learn a lesson? Or better yet, will Takagi and Nishikata learn to understand each other and possibly become more than just acquaintances?
