My Holy Grail Makeup Products, Okurrr?

I’m not one to use foundation, thus I only rely on concealers to spot conceal certain areas on my face, and this concealer is truly one of the best concealers I’ve used thus far. Super thick and pigmented and you’d only need to use a teensy-weensy bit to cover the areas you wish to conceal. Some say it’s a dupe for Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer, but I’d say this drugstore concealer is much better than the former in terms of formulations and blend-ability.

While I do hoard many palettes in my vanity, the one that my hand would typically gravitate towards is the Tarte Toasted Eyeshadow Palette. An all-around perfect nude palette for everyday use and even special occasions. The matte shadows are stunning and blend seamlessly, plus it’s the ideal toasty warm brown colour. Not forgetting the shimmers, which are just to die for. The sparkle and glitter are beautiful and glide on your eyelids like butter.

It took me a while to find the perfect eyeliner – specifically a matte eyeliner – that doesn’t smudge or move by the end of the day. However, after I discovered SILKYGIRL’s Perfect Matte Liquid Eyeliner, I never looked for any other eyeliner on the market. It’s literally the eyeliner I was looking for for years. It’s completely black, dries super matte and doesn’t smudge at all. When I’d almost run out of it, I’d buy two or three more to keep it in stock in my vanity. Literally my one and true holy grail that I would never wish to replace. If this is discontinued, the world would collapse – that’s how much I adore this eyeliner.

For a drugstore highlighter, Maybelline’s Master Chrome Highlighter packs a punch in how glowing it is. With this highlighter, I typically use a much smaller brush, as big brushes pick up a lot of product, thus you don’t need to use a lot with this highlighter. A little goes a long way and when you apply it on the highest point of your cheeks, you’ll literally blind anyone who even looks your way. Such a pretty and buttery highlighter – and it just melts on your skin beautifully.

Fenty Beauty has a lot of amazing products, from their foundations to their lip glosses – there’s certainly a holy grail product from Rihanna’s line for everyone. However, for me, it has to be Fenty Beauty’s Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush that just flushes my plump cheeks like no other. Super pigmented and lasts all day long, this cream blush became the blush that I reach for a lot in my vanity.

For the perfect matte and satin lipstick, it has to be Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Matte & Satin Velvet Lipsticks. Beautiful colour range of both matte and satin lines, and both have the perfect formulations where they don’t feather or smudge around your lips, even under your mask. The lipsticks do come with their own set of lip liners which are equally amazing as well. So, if I were you, I’d grab both the lipsticks and lip liners to mix and match on your lips to your heart’s content.

Before this, I was an anti-setting spray girl. I did NOT believe in the magic of setting spray. But after giving the Benefit The POREfessional: Super Setter a try, I converted. I use it to dampen my beauty sponge to blend my concealer with, and it literally makes my pores go invisible. After finishing the entirety of my makeup, I use the setting spray to set my face – and by the end of the day, my makeup literally does not budge. Changed my whole perspective on setting sprays.
