Fans of H&M, no longer shall you participate in online pre-orders or overseas trips for your fashion staples because H&M Hennes & Mauritz will descend upon the Golden Triangle by opening their first Malaysian store at Lot 10, Kuala Lumpur this Autumn 2012 (as early as September).
It is usual practice during store openings where the first few customers will be rewarded with gift cards to spend with. Singapore customers received S$250 (RM600) gift cards while those in the US got as much as US$500! We’re excited to find out how much Malaysian customers will be receiving.
A check on the Lot 10 website revealed that H&M’s office will be opening there soon. H&M stores are usually located in areas with high foot traffic and immediate visibility with a store size that measures between a massive 10,000 to 30,000 square feet. They are said to be taking over Debenhams space in Lot 10.
The H&M Malaysia store is just one of 275 new stores worldwide, including in China, the US and Britain. Malaysia, together with Bulgaria, Latvia and Thailand, will become H&M’s newest markets.
Now the big question is, will you be one of the early birds at the store opening?
