If you’re a Madonna fan or have been on the internet recently, you’ve likely come across this TikTok video that she posted on April 3.
The video was a close-up of Madonna’s face, which left many users unsettled because it showed that she bore little resemblance to what fans were used to seeing. This led to the comments section discussing whether she had undergone a drastic amount of plastic surgery over the years, or was using a filter. Which begs the question: What procedures has Madonna undergone? After doing some digging ourselves, here are all the surgeries that Madonna might have gotten throughout the years!
Botox
It’s pretty clear that Madonna has undergone some Botox treatment, despite the fact that she has never acknowledged getting the treatment done on her face. “Botox and collagen implants have likely been performed on her. As a result of her fox eye fad, Madonna may have undergone some sort of thread treatment, and Botox injections could be used to smooth the forehead and lift the eye corners,” claims AMS Aesthetics.
Brow Lift
Another surgery Madonna seems to have done is a brow lift, in her early 30s. This one is hard to determine, as incisions are easily covered under the hair, right above the forehead. This might be the reason behind Madonna’s iconic ‘lifted brow’ facial expression. They even have a procedure called the “Madonna Lift”!
Face Lift
After the TikTok video blew up, many fans suspected that she has had several facelifts done over the years, starting from when she was just 37 years old. The reason people believe this to be true is that in some of her 1995 pictures, there was a scar around her ear lobe that wasn’t there before. It’s suspected that a second facelift had taken place 10 years later, following another one in 2020.
Butt Lift
After her performance on New Year’s Eve at New York’s Stonewall Inn in 2019, it was widely speculated that she’d had butt implants put in! One of the riskier surgeries, they are done to improve the contour, size, and shape of your butt and improve the shape of the underlying tissue that supports the skin and fat in your bottom.
This was followed by another recent appearance at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, where people suspected that she had had a breast enlargement operation. However, many believed that she just had a strong push-up bra!
