Like fashion, makeup is all about being bold and breaking the rules. Looking good today is no longer reserved for dinner parties or a weekend out because now you can paint the town red while shopping or cooking in the comforts of your home with MAC’s Spring 2012 Collection called Shop MAC and Cook MAC. It is without a doubt a tongue-in-cheek collection that elevates the everyday into the extraordinary.
In accordance to the collection’s theme, MAC designed and brought to life a quirky supermarket set up complete with aisles and “groceries”. Heck you could pop a thing or two into your cart but mind you they’re not real! If only our real life hypermarkets were just as funky.
Under the Shop MAC collection there are four types of eyeshadow palettes, Cremeblend Blushes and Kissable Lipcolours while the Cook MAC collection includes Eyes & Lips paint pots, liners, mascaras as well as yummy Nail Lacquers.
The launch of the collection was held last Thursday at Mid Valley Megamall hosted by the loud and vivacious Joanne Kam along with a bevy of gorgeous eye candy for the crowd’s entertainment.
A MAC makeup artist was also on hand to wow the crowd with a live makeup demonstration on one of the models. Orange or more accurately Tangerine is the in color right now!

If you’re interested to get a free makeover, the roadshow will be at the Center Court of Mid Valley Megamall from now until this Sunday (10th March 2012) where you can check out the collection for yourself and receive a personal consultation from any of the friendly MAC artists.
