Is 7-Eleven your go-to snack store? If so, then you’ll be thrilled to find out that 7-Eleven Malaysia has just launched their biggest 7Cafe store in Bandar Puteri Puchong. That’s right! The biggest 7-Eleven in all of Malaysia, that includes a mini bookstore and artisan beverages to accommodate a lifestyle convenience shopping experience just for you, has opened its doors.
Partnering with BookXcess and Niko Neko Matcha, the largest convenience store, 7-Eleven, has just progressed into a store with the concept of offering customers a holistic lifestyle convenience shopping experience.
Mr Tan U-Ming, Co-Chief Executive Officer of 7-Eleven Malaysia stated that, “the primary key idea is to collaborate with local businesses that best suit the lifestyle we want to portray alongside the 7Cafe brand. Since Niko Neko Matcha is a high-quality matcha drink provider and BookXcess has very accessible and not to mention affordable books for all, we see this as a good fit for the 7Cafe concept”.
The flagship 7Cafe by 7-Eleven is a two-storey – yes, a legit two-floor store – with the food, beverages and other items sold on the ground floor. The first floor has the mini bookstore section and popular hot food, as well as desserts and cakes from the contemporary artisan matcha brand – Niko Neko Matcha. The mini bookstore is filled with fiction, non-fiction and kids books. From Harry Potter to Stephen King and the famous Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan, booklovers can find a little bit of everything while grabbing a Niko Neko Matcha snack and drink.
“Our counter food is themed around American fusion with a local twist definitely, and our customer’s favourites are Croffle which comes with sweet and savoury options to suit all taste buds together with freshly brewed coffee served at affordable prices,” added Mr Wong Wai Keong, Co-Chief Executive Officer of 7-Eleven Malaysia. “We will give our customers option to come to and shop in our stores for a reason to keep coming back,” concluded Mr Wong Wai Keong.
This newest 7Cafe offers a variety of foods from different cuisines as mentioned by Mr Wong Wai Keong. Japanese, Korean, Western and of course, a row filled with everyone’s favourite chips and chocolates. A variety of cakes, muffins, croissants, doughnuts and drinks as well. And over at the chiller section, they provide ready to eat meals like onigiri and sandwiches.
This unique proposition is to meet the current demands of having chic and unique retail experiences as well as satisfying customers to give them a reason to always come back. Oh! Not only does 7Cafe offer snacks, food, desserts, drinks and books, but also, for beauty seekers, you can now shop at 7-eleven for Japanese beauty products and Boots brand products. Talk about being absolutely convenient!
Having already opened their newest outlet here in Puchong, 7Cafe is also aiming to open more such outlets across the Klang Valley with the goal of offering this unique proposition of lifestyle convenience to customers.
