After 12 years of waiting, Malaysian sweetheart Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin is now set to embrace motherhood!
The 39-years-old pop diva and husband Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa has safely welcomed a healthy baby girl at 8.17 AM this morning, at an undisclosed hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
According to a post on her Instagram account, the baby who weighs 3.55kg, was delivered by caesarean section. Both the mother and newborn are in good health. “Siti and her baby are both doing well,” Siti’s manager/sister-in-law Rozi Abdul Razak said in a press statement.
“The couple chose Monday to be the day of birth of their first child as Prophet Muhammad SAW was born on a Monday and it is also the first day of the Islamic month of Rejab.” She continued, “Siti and her husband would like to thank family members, friends, fans and media practitioners for their support and prayers from the beginning of the pregnancy until birth.”
The beautiful songstress, who tied the knot with Datuk K back in 2006, has been vocal about her fertility journey after suffering a miscarriage in December 2015, hoping that her story will help other women going through something similar.
Unfortunately, rude online sellers took this opportunity to illegally promote sex stimulant pills which they claimed will help with infertility and erectile dysfunction, using the pair’s photos without their permission and make it seem like the songstress has endorsed the product. Not cool, peeps.
Well, the nay-sayers can finally keep their lips sealed now because Malaysians are so happy for this news!
Congratulations, Siti and Datuk K, the little girl is going to be a stunner.
