Thylane Blondeau, the young model crowned as the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’ at age six has just taken part in her first Fashion Week.
The french beauty made headlines ten years ago after she appeared on the cover of Vogue Enfants, earning the aforementioned title, which threw her into popularity after causing a stir across the globe.
16-years-old Thylane has returned to the limelight this month after walking the catwalk for Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger at New York Fashion Week.
Daughter of former footballer Patrick Blondeau and fashion designer/TV host Veronika Loubry, the teenager is now a brand ambassador for luxury cosmetic brand L’Oréal. She has also been named as the face of a perfume by French designer Lolita Lempicka.
It all started with a candid shot of her in her hometown. She is (still) the youngest model to pose for French Vogue, however her spread had been criticised by some for being too ‘sexualised’.
Her mother defended the cover at the time, telling a French newspaper, “The only thing that shocks me about the photo is the necklace that she’s wearing, which is worth 3 million Euros,” or about RM14.9 million. Eugh, our currency is so bad.
