Our homegirl is doing us proud again!
About 4 hours ago, Malaysian singer/songwriter Yuna, revealed on Instagram that she’s being featured within the glamorous pages of Vogue Arabia.
Yuna shared her happiness with a caption that read “I’m over the moon! This just happened! I’m in the July/August issue of #voguearabia, with @jourdandunn on the cover, and lil ol’ me on the inside!”. The songstress graces the cover of the Lens section of the magazine, looking regal and graceful in a flowy black dress.

In a previous interview with Vogue, Yuna describes the hijab as a part of her, and not an obstruction on her journey towards realising her dreams. “It became a part of me immediately,” she says. “When I put it on, I feel more confident. A lot of people think it’s a symbol of oppression. But it’s very liberating, actually.”
“You’re protecting your identity as a woman. You’re protecting your magic, you know?”. Given her choices, Yuna refuses to judge anyone for doing otherwise: “On the other end of the spectrum there are women who believe in showing your body, and that’s fine, too,” she says. “It’s an interesting time to see people embracing differences.”
It’s virtually impossible to hate on this sweetheart. Wanna see Yuna live at a secret concert this week? Make sure to join the #UberYuna contest that ends tomorrow! Just follow the instructions in our post below and stand a chance to meet Malaysia’s favourite songbird.
