The global authority in hair removal – STRIP: Ministry of Waxing – is embarking on an awareness campaign ‘STRIP Saves Bees’ which highlights the importance of bees to our ecosystem. Not only are bees keystone pollinators that propagate one third of the world’s food crops, there wouldn’t be wax without bees.
Striking visuals inspired by The Sex Pistols’ “God Save the Queen” album art anchor the campaign, featuring grunge elements of the ’80s to invoke a change, educating the public on how bees are pollinators and not pests. STRIP aims to inspire public action towards preserving the population and ensuring the survival of these creatures.
On a global scale, STRIP has partnered with apiaries by sourcing honey and beeswax merchandise from them, creating a sustainable income stream for bee farmers, and keeping the bee farming trade alive.
In conjunction with the campaign, STRIP introduces its latest variant of wax – the honey-scented Queen Bee Wax. It is a soft wax that’s ideal for larger body areas, and contains natural beeswax from Australia which offers skin-conditioning and moisturising properties for a smooth, soft finish.
From now until 31 August 2016, you can support the #StripSavesBees movement by getting a Queen Bee Half Leg Bottom Wax at RM28 (Female)/RM38 (Male). Additionally, customers will receive a complimentary 50ml jar of honey with a minimum spend of RM500 and a Queen Bee tote bag with a minimum spend of RM1,000.
Visit STRIP’s official website or Facebook page for more updates or details on the campaign.
