“Encore! Encore! Encore! We want more!”, the crowd shouted on Sunday night, after the legendary boy band, Backstreet Boys performed their last song ‘The Call’ and bid their fans goodbye at the Twin Towers @live 2013. It was indeed a memorable night for everyone who attended the two-night music extravaganza.

Before the night of celebration, the members of media were invited to the press conference of Twin Towers Alive 2013 at KL Hilton Hotel. With Malaysia’s radio DJ, Serena C hosting the press conference, media interview was being as well with U-Kiss, Demi Lovato, and Backstreet Boys attending the press conference.
To get the audience in the mood to party, DJ Face Da Fader and DJ Tatsuro were featured respectively on both nights of the event. The first night of Twin Towers Alive 2013 started off with amazing performance from local acts including Atilia, K-Town Clan and Project Elementz. The crowd instantly turned into frenzy mode when international stars including K-pop boy group, U-Kiss and American sweetheart with powerhouse vocal, Demi Lovato went up on stage. The boys performed 6 songs in total that night but the songs were enough to make make the fans go crazy over them. In fact, 2 members celebrated their birthday during the press conference as well. Although it was raining before Lovato’s performance, the rain did not dampen her fans’ spirits and stayed until she came up on stage.
The crowd grew bigger for Day 2 of Twin Towers Alive 2013 as the legendary boy group, Backstreet Boys and Korean fiercest girl group, 2NE1 had their first performance here in Malaysia. In conjunction with Earth Hour, Twin Towers @live 2013 turned off the lights for an hour and the concert venue instantly turned into sea of darkness. The most anticipated moment arrived right after Mizz Nina‘s performances as 2NE1 will be up on stage. The girls kicked off their performances with their debut song “Fire”. The fans also gave a special birthday surprise for one of their members, Park Bom as she will be celebrating her birthday the day after the performances. The crowd instantly turned themselves into fangirl (or fanboy) mode as soon as Backstreet Boys came up on stage. From “Incomplete” to “Get Down” to “The Call”, BSB were generous in giving fan service to the crowd and even picked 3 girls up on stage during the performances.
