From Paris to Kuala Lumpur, the avant-garde perfume house EX NIHILO has unveiled their latest addition to the Initiale Collection, which features a series of timelessly iconic olfactory creations. Available at Amaris Beauty Malaysia in Suria KLCC, EX NIHILO Iris Porcelana is the newest addition to the world of High-Perfumery. It is a contemporary ode to the most sophisticated and exclusive raw material of High-Perfumery: Iris Pallida.
Inspired by French porcelain, this creation embodies delicacy and secular know-how. Sandalwood and White Musks are intertwined with the powdery Iris to create a delicate aroma.
IRIS PORCELANA will be available for personalisation through their Personalization Program as part of the Initiale Collection.
Without further ado, let’s step into the world of High Perfumery and take a look at its newest addition.
IRIS PORCELANA is an ode to the iconic Iris Pallida seen through the French Avant-Garde movement. Designed by Master perfumer, Dalia Izem, with much patience and delicacy, she was inspired by the secular get modern craft of French Porcelain.
The creation opens up with a light breath of violet leaf. Sophisticated heart notes of Iris are nestled in a cloud of soft Musks. Sandalwood brings the ultimate twist: its creaminess sublimates the powdery signature of Iris, expressing all its nobility.
Violet Leaf, Iris Pallida, and Sandalwood are three key ingredients in this creation, all of which are high-quality materials that were responsibly sourced.
Originating from Givaudan, the violet leaf accord is reconstituted by the perfumer. It adds a singular green and herbaceous note to the creation. The Orris root of the Iris Pallida holds the aroma and lends a powdery note to the fragrance. Sandalwood oil is extracted from the wood and roots of the Santalum album tree. It offers a warm and creamy feeling.
The creative visual’s overall structure is consistent with the rest of the Initiale Collection: a playful and colourful ode to the Iris flower, which serves as a center piece. The round shapes, inspired by the gentle colours of Iris, recall the fragrance’s creamy and powdery signature. Finally, the white shadow refers to the white colour of porcelain that inspired the fragrance.
